The successful candidate will be leading home electronics product testing and making quality reports based on SCR data. Close interaction with Korean engineers is key to understand and assess each project.

The candidate has to be hands on, detail oriented and technology savvy. Participation in all department wide activities, from product planning to initiatives, is expected. This position requires a driven individual with sense of achievement and closure.

1 - Product Quality Analysis

• Retrieve and organize technical call data and warranty data
• Analyze data and report results to Q&E, CIC, LGEUS, and Korea Division
• Field return data analysis
• Develop cost reduction methods through cost analysis

2 - Product Engineering and Technical Research

• Research LG branded products
• Research competitive products
• Review competitive strengths and weaknesses
• Develop training program for LG branded products

3 - SCR Analysis

• Gather service call data
• Analyze data
• Determine problem areas
• Develop solutions

4 - Liaison between Q & E and Korea Division QA

• Facilitate flow of information between LGEAI and Korea Division(s)
• Report to the Korea Division(s) regarding all field quality data in the US

5 - Other duties as assigned and as required to perform the job. 

. A minimum of 2 years of experience in home electronics product testing

. A minimum of 2 years experience in large amount of data management.

. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field

. Capability to plan strategically, without losing sight of the tactical aspects
. Strong working knowledge of media products 
. Strong knowledge of Microsoft software, especially Excel or Access.

. Ability to speak both Korean and English
